Course calendar
This year is a very exciting one for me. As many of you know, I
am building a new garden here at Allt-y-bela and it is now really
settling in - even showing some maturity. I am starting to add
layers of complexity with planting and new structures that are
building on the broader brush outlines of the first few
years.
I am also designing a garden for Laurent-Perrier for exhibit at
the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2012. It is for this reason we
are concentrating the garden courses in just two weeks of
June. Designing for Chelsea again has given me a great excuse
for finding new nurseries and really special plants and all these
new discoveries are feeding into my thoughts for new plant
combinations and designs which I hope to share with you this
year.
The courses we have put together for 2012 concentrate on
different aspects of planting and design and I hope that you find
something within the course topics to inspire you to book.
Once again we will also be hosting a play in the garden on the
Saturday evening during the two weeks of courses and hope very much
you will come and join in the fun.
Courses are kept small and all prices include a delicious lunch
of home cooked local produce as well as tea and cakes.
